Our Team

Judy and Don Ellis, owners of Creekside Cats Boarding Hotel, founded this unique “home away from home” for the comfort and quality care of their feline clients. Judy was born and raised in Abbotsford on a 10-acre hobby farm. In 1978, she married husband Don Ellis and resided in a hobby farm, raising two sons Robert and Dustin. After 10 years if being a full-time mom, Judy resumed her career and was employed as a small 15-bed psychiatric care facility for 8 months, she then accepted a position at Mission Memorial Hospital in extended care and later to medical lab assistant.

In 2003, they purchased 3.15 acres in Clayburn village. The beautiful serene property was perfect for a feline boarding facility. A year later, one of the buildings on the property was converted into 5 private walk-in suites.

In spring 2005, Creekside Cats Boarding Hotel was established as a commercial business with a goal to creating a home-like, safe environment. We continue to build around our solid reputation due to our high standards of care and service to the community. We have well-trained, caring staff who provide loving care to our kitty guests. As of 2016 we have 15 very generous suites, 9 studio suites and 6 executive suites.
