Q) Will my cat be mixed in with other cats because the rooms are so large? A) No, only cats from the same household will be allowed to share a room.
Q) Are the larger rooms more money then the regular size rooms? A) No, all rooms are the same rate. We didn't want to raise the cost for larger rooms and make our clients feel uncomfortable about placing a value on their cat.
B) Creekside staff assign the room for guests. Some guest travel alone while others travel in pairs and need larger family rooms.
Q) What if I book and then need to cancel part of my stay will you charge me for the booking dates I stated on the boarding contract?
A) No charge for last minute emergency cancelation except most all Christmas bookings have a deposit that are non-refundable after Nov. 15th. Just call or email ASAP. We check all emails daily.
Q) How can I pay for my cats stay and when do I pay for the stay? A) We accept Interac, Visa, Master Card, Cheque or Cash.
b) Creekside ask that all short term clients pay the bill at check-in. If you're boarding long-term (1 month or longer) we ask for half payment at check-in; balance at check-out.
Q) My cat requires medication, will there be an extra charge for administering this? A) Yes, If your cat requires a pill or injection, there is a $5.00 per injection. If the medication can be applied to the cat food, RX ear cream, lotions, or drops, there will be at no charge to clients. All medications are documented and charted by staff.
Q) My cat has allergies and sensitive skin. What do you use to clean your rooms.
A) We are proud of using non toxic botanical cleaners from Melalueca that are 99.9% effective on all major bacteria viruses. We thoroughly clean inside and outside litter boxes, rooms, bedding, etc.
Q) I don't want to change my cats diet. Will you feed her as I do? A) Yes. We follow all personal care requirments. We will chart and post your cats care plan posting it the door as well in the care plan. Bring your felines special food well labeled so we can place it in the fridge or kitty kitchen.
Q) Do you give a discount to someone who brings their cats food? A) We don't charge extra to serve special diets to our feline guests as well, we don't offer a discount to those who bring their cat food.
Q) What brands of food do you offer? A) Dry food-Creekside now serve Nutrience in several stages & favors. Wet food choices are Pet Cetera gourmet canned foods, Fancy Feast- several favors, along with other wet canned foods.
Q) What time is check-in and check-out, when does a new day start and end?
A) Check-in often after 1:00 pm. If needed ask for morning accommodations when you book.
Check-out is before 11:00 am. The new day begins at noon. We need time to wash rooms for kitty guests arriving.
Q) Can we come visit our cat anytime?
A) Yes, however we require a visitors appointment. Check Contact Page for hours of operation.
Q) Can you release our cats to a third party?
A) Yes, just email or fax permission. We ask that all boarding bills be paid in full before releasing your cat.
Q. What do we bring?
A) Bring something with your smell on it, favorite toys, brush, special food, wet or dry.
Q) What do you provide for each room?
Creekside supplies jumbo litter boxes, fresh litter, bedding, beds, benches, baskets, blankets, music, toys, dry food and treats, wet snacks after 9 pm., climbing posts, catnip if permitted. We provide staff to visit and play with your kitty guests.
